Reviews
We went there for our wedding anniversary dinner. Reasonable price and good portion. According to Google map, their busiest time is 7pm, so I made reservation for 6:30pm. There were only 2 other tables there so we got to pick the front window table.
Not really recommend the veal liver hot appetizer. I think it was a bit over fried and not much taste. I was expecting maybe pan fried slices, but they were like deep fried nuggets. We needed to ask for some yogurt sauce and added a little salt to them. Very hot fresh bread and they served with both olive oil and butter. đź‘Ť I ordered the grilled lamb chop and my wife had the lamb shish, both came out perfectly as we ordered, medium. The parties started showing up just when we were finishing our dinner.
I would recommend this place. It's some distance away from the main restaurant area, so it's kind of cozy and we loved it. Will definitely go back again.
Decent middle eastern food. BYOB
Favorite Dishes : Bread basket, fried calamari and Grilleria combination platter.
Least Favorite : Mixed Appetizer Platter : it was not fresh. You can taste that they did not make their dips that same day. It lacked freshness and seasoning.
We LOVE this place. The food is always so fresh and delicious. It’s not fast, but it’s so incredibly worth it. Make sure to try the baba ganoush- it’s truly the best I’ve ever had - somehow it’s smoky and creamy and bright and refreshing all at once. The fresh bread served with it is baked in house.
They also have amazing lunch specials that are an incredible value - currently about $13 and change (September 2022). Best deal in town!
The food is good. The atmosphere needs some sprucing up.
The sampler app is very good and serves a lot even the small size.
I really like their chicken shish.
The building inside and out could really use some updating.
The food here is excellent. Don’t miss out on the appetizer platter. We ordered the small and it was anything but small, and everything included was delicious. Mains were also excellent. Ambience was really nice and cozy. Can’t wait to go back with friends and family.
We came across this restaurant looking for a good lunch after having a great thrift shopping afternoon. Well, the Shepard's salad was the best I have tasted in any Greek or Turkish restaurant. The Babaganoush was smooth and very eggplanty, so very good. The waiter was awesome with my dietary needs. We made reservations for Saturday on Mother's Day weekend! Check it out. Oh they have 2 lunch options for $16.00, and it was great!
Terrible. Stuffed grape leaves were mushy. Kibeh was more like an empanada and was basically dry meat. The ends were even burned and were hard charred. Inedible. My wife thinks that they reheated the kibeh multiple times and that why why it was so bad. My stuffed cabbage was also a soggy mush with no flavor other than the canned tomato sauce that was poured over. My son had the chicken shishkebab which was ok but nothing special. My wife had the skeward ground chicken which at least was seasoned.
Service wasn't great. We were rushed to place our order since the kitchen was closing. Maybe that had something to do with the food not being great. They shouldn't have sat us if they knew they wouldn't have time to properly serve their guests. They never even asked if we wanted something other than water to drink.
All in all a poor experience.
My friend and I decided to go dining before heading to the theater. We were so glad to have come here to Grillera because it turned out to be an excellent choice. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. I recommend the small mixed appetizer shown in the picture. I would definitely go back again.
